Wheres the money.

When I was in grade school being taught about money, we learned about nickels and dimes, but we were never taught where it came from. I learned how to save and I got my first bank account. Numbers interested me, the way they could add, the way they could multiply. I was never learned where to get money and I didn't care, life was good.

Then I joined the work force, and realized that hours of my life were worth dollars. It was simple, it was easy, the more time I put in the larger my bankroll would be. This is not happening.

As I enter the work force, my stills are not recognized or appreciated. I became lazy at school, I know that now. This seems counter intuitive, hard work at the university was producing very little for me. Thus I did only enough to get by, and I did.

Now, I am in a constant need of cash. I am a college graduate begging for spare change on the streets, stealing food, in a constant battle for survival.

Automation of the Automobile

The Automation of the automobile is unavoidable. There is not logical reason we need to drive back ad forth between our destinations. Only now are we technologically advanced enough to consider this notion. However, like everything we do we will rush into it without realizing the consequences. The benefits of taking the wheel out of our hands will decrease fatal accidents, increase productivity, and decrease the automobiles effects on the environment.

There are two types of systems for the automation of the automobile in the works. The first rely in a total restructuring of our road systems. Putting sensors in the roads, street signs and stop lights. This systems could work unbelievably well, it would be very expensive. The smart street system could added to current vehicles at a greatly reduced price. The second type involves making the car smart. By placing cameras and sensors that detect other cars, road signs and reacts to traffic in real time. These smart cars would start off very expensive for the consumer, but would require no initial investment for the state.

While there are many positive aspects to automated automobiles, we must not forget to consider the negative effects of being driven around. Cost is an issue however, like any new technology the cost for the consumer will start high and then begin to fall. Mistakes made by the automobile must be dealt with. Accidents caused by a software failure, should not be the problem of the owner. Most likely manufactures would held accountable for these types of accidents, instead of the driver. Manual overrides would need to be put in place and proficiency in the rules of the road would still be necessary.

Many business models would also be effected by a new method of transportation. Mass transit could become more efficient and reliable. Trucking companies would adopt this system very early. Reducing the number of truck driver jobs. This loss could be supplemented with inspectors who would need to look over the truck at each end of the journey. This would ensure a minimal amount of accidents. For commuters this system would be a godsend, because it would increase productivity and quality of life for many.

Many would fight this change many of people would resist the change to automated automobiles, because of a lack in trust or enjoyment of the drive. This issue needs to be discussed.

December Letter

An obscure domain name was chosen for this site on purpose, no dollars were not spent on advertising, no time was spent self-promoting. My first posts expressed experimentation. Learning about something this new, must be done in an innovative way.

The Way we must learn has changed, no longer are books the only source of knowledge. Many other ways of learning may be effective for different individuals, and the classic model for teaching is no longer cost effective or valid. Yet, this classic model can not be totally scraped, because of its benefits to society.

Many humans are being suppressed by a number of things. Violence threats, demanding social lives, addiction, and now change. Not change for the better, but change for the worse is suppressing us.

Creating in the most uncreative environments

Working in this kind an environments should be impossible. Individuals born with a strong creative mind can overcome overbearing opposition. Creating work that is limited by the uncreative needs to be better than work that is nurtured in a creative environment.

By doing this the artist is able to create a piece of work that has more of an impact on the consumers. This kind of art is rare. This art is true. This art is painful.

Like physical sacrifice to the ancient gods in order to gain. Blood spilled in order for a plentiful harvest, privacy made public for the world. To what gain, for a more prosperous future, for wealth, for fame.

Work on a automobile which harness more of the surrounding energy already present during a normal commute.  In order to make the automobile more self sustainable.   Utilizing more methods of harnessing energy and combining them will increase the vehicles power allowance, yet decrease the amount of fuel used.

My dream is to complete a concept vehicle and market my systems as an aftermarket add on which could be used with any model.  Needs to produce 12 volts.  Needs to be cost effective.  Needs to be Installable in less than a buisness day.

Addiction

I'm Addicted not to drugs or alcohol.  not to shopping or eating.  not to tobacco or women.

I am addicted to the television show "lock-up"  countless days have been lost because of "lock-up" marathons.  I am so addicted to this show, one which documents prison life, I fantasize about committing crimes with a desire to get caught.

This is the sigh of addiction.

I would never commit a crime with the intent not to get away but to get caught, but while watching this program my mind has thought about committing a crime so I can live the exciting life of a prisoner.  I care about nothing else but joining those noble gentleman on screen.

i went to college so that step into a job where i was above others.  i wanted employers to be fighting for my abilities.  This however, was not what i experienced on graduation day.  my graduation day was not filled with excitement and pride but rather anxiety and sadness.  my picture was printed in the newspapers, if only the public knew what i felt on that day.

Changes in Film

I want to understand visual art. In my own mind there seems to be a chain medium. This chain began with painting, done on cave walls long ago. The cave wall transformed into canvas, which master painters adored. Then photography and later film. Each is a iteration of the previous. Today, each form of visual art is alive, transformed but alive none the less.

The evolution of the visual arts is ever expanding because of innovations and advancements in technology. These advancements in technology are changing the way an artist can express himself but is also has changed the way the public consumes art and the way visual art is produced.
Making it easier and less expensive to create visual art allowed an explosion of amateur art to enter into the public arena. This causes problems for the traditionally trained artist to find a niche in the marketplace. This is the problem I face, being educated, I struggle to be seen, to be noticed.
