Work on a automobile which harness more of the surrounding energy already present during a normal commute.  In order to make the automobile more self sustainable.   Utilizing more methods of harnessing energy and combining them will increase the vehicles power allowance, yet decrease the amount of fuel used.

Addiction

I'm Addicted not to drugs or alcohol.  not to shopping or eating.  not to tobacco or women.

I am addicted to the television show "lock-up"  countless days have been lost because of "lock-up" marathons.  I am so addicted to this show, one which documents prison life, I fantasize about committing crimes with a desire to get caught.

This is the sigh of addiction.

I would never commit a crime with the intent not to get away but to get caught, but while watching this program my mind has thought about committing a crime so I can live the exciting life of a prisoner.  I care about nothing else but joining those noble gentleman on screen.

i went to college so that step into a job where i was above others.  i wanted employers to be fighting for my abilities.  This however, was not what i experienced on graduation day.  my graduation day was not filled with excitement and pride but rather anxiety and sadness.  my picture was printed in the newspapers, if only the public knew what i felt on that day.

Changes in Film

I want to understand visual art. In my own mind there seems to be a chain medium. This chain began with painting, done on cave walls long ago. The cave wall transformed into canvas, which master painters adored. Then photography and later film. Each is a iteration of the previous. Today, each form of visual art is alive, transformed but alive none the less.

The evolution of the visual arts is ever expanding because of innovations and advancements in technology. These advancements in technology are changing the way an artist can express himself but is also has changed the way the public consumes art and the way visual art is produced.
Making it easier and less expensive to create visual art allowed an explosion of amateur art to enter into the public arena. This causes problems for the traditionally trained artist to find a niche in the marketplace. This is the problem I face, being educated, I struggle to be seen, to be noticed.

Rural America - how to escape a racist.

how far do you have to go to find a racist, Ive tried to escape, unsuccessfully.  I do not participate and I act uncomfortable.  yet because of the color of my skin i still experience it.  racism is alive and well in the year 2009.  it has changed, become more dangerous.  Racism is inside of me, inside all of us, inside of america.

Separated from the canvas

I feel separated from my work. Taken away from my element I struggle to find my way back to art. Wondering if I will ever regain my artistic vision, which was once so strong.

Driving away from my house this morning, I couldnt keep my mind from thinking about separation. Separation from my life. I Recently took a full time position, which has taken the my life and transformed it. I worry.

Ive gotten over the hump, and my work is beginning to improve. The other day I figured out what makes the work I do unique. It's the way my hand moves, and at times the way my hand refuses to move in the way i want it to.

I want to share but I have reservations about sharing online. I worry about where my work will end up and who will be taking credit. I know that as an artist I should want as many people to see my work as possible but I have reservations about letting my work go.

I am a minimalist but I believe in color.

the depth of a paint is not relative to the amount of time spend with the brush. Its worth is not based on skill or technique. Never before have so many images been created, thus the artist has become lazy. because of the ease at which one can create. art and the artist have lost large amounts of credibility. the artist life is a difficult one. many young artist take art and art school for granted. believing that born talent predetermines them for greatness. false.
